Iced Herbal Mint Tea

If you have a Phylz Coffee shop nearby then run over and get their Herbal Mint Tea with medium honey over ice. It is delicious but the stores are hard to find so I recreated their delicious mix of fresh mint, cardamon, cucumber, honey to create a very calming and relaxing iced drink (you can have it hot as well, just as delicious.)

  • 3 cups of water (for three glasses)
  • 1 handful of fresh mint leaves
  • Top quality honey, to taste, about a tablespoon for medium sweetness
  • A few pinches of cardamom
  • 2-3 cucumber slices, very thin (each)

Making It

  • Bring the water to a boil, add the mint and let simmer for 3 minutes
  • Pout the mint leaves and water into a container, add the honey, cardamom and dissolve, pour over a pitcher of ice, most of the ice will melt, add to glasses individually iced with cucumbers mid-way in the ice, place fresh mint leaves to the side of the glass for serving
