I finally had my first, freshly made, traditional Chick-fil-A sandwich at the airport and based on all of the hype, I was expecting something amazing. It was fine. Just barely fine. A little cheap on the pickle, the sauce was average but for a quick bite at the airport it was better than most other options. However most airports have stepped up their game so the options are quickly improving for the traveling masses.
That said, I cannot understand the wrap-around lines at their locations scattered just about everywhere. At LPB we have mastered a host of different kinds of chicken sandwiches that I think are much tastier than the iconic Chick-fil-A. Here are some of our better ones:
