Bacon, Cheese & Crisp Lettuce on Toasted Rolls

img_7237A simple snack that can be served all day long should be just that, simple and tasty.  A fresh toasted potato roll, three strips of roast bacon, and a thickly cut slice of sharp cheddar cheese make a delicious treat.  Each ingredient is key so get the best bacon from your butcher, top quality extra sharp cheese, fresh crisp lettuce and potato rolls made at a specialty bakery.


  • One pound of roast bacon
  • 8 mini (1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch)  potato rolls from your local specialty bakery, toasted in the broiler
  • 8 slices of thickly sliced extra sharp cheese
  • 8 crisp iceberg lettuce
  • Mayonaise (optional)

Making it

  • This is a simple one, just stack the bottom of the roll with the lettuce, then mayo if you want, then bacon, cheese and top it with the bun and serve
