You can pick up roasted pita chips just about anywhere but you can also save big when you make your own. Home made pita chips also look a lot better and taste much fresher, especially when served warm
Making It
- Set the oven to 350
- Split the pitas with a knife, put on a banking sheet, splash with olive oil and sprinkle, liberally, with kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- Roast on middle rack for 10-12 minutes. Rotate racks if you are doing more than banking sheet
- Rub each toasted pita with a garlic clove that has been cut in half
- Break by hand and serve
