I always serve a hearty loaf of warm Italian bread with a pasta dinner, salad and so on. Instead of butter or just plain olive oil, mix freshly ground Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, olive oil and black pepper to serve with the bread. It’s an amazing addition to the bread and overall meal.
- 4 1/2 tablespoons of freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese
- 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
- Mix the ingredients together with a fork and serve with grilled bread
